Challenge
I can never find what I'm looking for — the search results are either irrelevant or incomplete.
The documentation website suffered from limited functionality and a poor search experience, making it difficult for users to find relevant information quickly. Content was scattered across different formats, and the outdated system lacked support for features like structured announcements, interactive Q&As, or downloadable resources. This fragmented setup frustrated users, slowed down learning, and hindered the company’s ability to deliver clear, scalable documentation.
Solution
I designed and implemented a new documentation platform by merging Joomla CMS, HTML, and Markdown into a single, flexible system with a custom unified search.
This unified approach not only streamlined content management but also enabled the integration of new features such as announcements, Q&As, downloadable assets, e-learning modules and more. These enhancements transformed the documentation site into a dynamic knowledge hub, improving discoverability, engagement, and the overall learning experience—capabilities that simply weren't possible with the old setup.
